Eurax cream contains the active ingredient crotamiton, which has antipruritic properties.
Crotamiton is a medicine that is applied to the skin to relieve itching (pruritis). It is not fully understood how it works.
Eurax cream provides relief of itching and skin irritation caused by various different conditions such as, nettle rash (hives), insect bites and stings, dermatitis, eczema, chickenpox, heat rash and personal itching.
Eurax cream can also be used to treat scabies.
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
